Chaplain (Brother) Stephen Ukaoha Kalu was born in Nigeria, West Africa, and was Born-Again on October 30, 2007. He received spiritual training through the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (Deeper Life Bible Church) under the leadership of Pastor (Dr.) W. F. Kumuyi.

From 2009 to 2010, Stephen served faithfully as a chorister at the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Obiaruku Central Church, Delta State, Nigeria. He later relocated to a neighboring town, where he ministered at Beach Land District Church from 2010 to 2012, serving as both a Youth Instructor and a Search the Scriptures teacher, contributing to the spiritual development of young believers.

In 2017–2018, Stephen completed professional training as a Supernumerary Police Officer at the Police Training School in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. Following his training, he served as a security operative at the Deeper Christian Life Ministry Headquarters in Gbagada, Lagos, from 2018 to 2022, demonstrating commitment, discipline, and integrity in safeguarding ministry operations.

Stephen currently serves as an evangelist and is actively developing a transport and protocol company, reflecting his dedication to both ministry and entrepreneurial advancement.
